As American As It Gets

I have to start out by saying that I love the Fourth. It really is the perfect holiday. There isn't all the hustle and bustle like with some other holidays, plus its warm and who doesn't love to rock red+white+blue, and watch fireworks? I knew the parade would be a huge hit with Krew... he's in this obsessed with trucks, especially firetrucks with flashing lights stage. Plus his best mate West was there to join him in the flag waving, and candy eating... I think it was a perfect day in the world of two year old little boys. The whole family had a nice afternoon swim, and then picnicked in the park with some our friends. They brought this thing called a candy cannon... and yes it explodes and shoots out candy! I think those kids were in heaven! Krew was a little young to understand the concept of the candy cannon but he had so much fun running around with all the other kids. Then we watched one of the best fireworks shows I have ever seen in my whole life! Seriously Redlands knows how to put on an amazing fireworks show. And Krews face was priceless. I think this fourth was one for the books.
