Memorial Weekend Camp Trip

Who doesn't love a Monday holiday? We decided to celebrate {and kick off summer} with a weekend camp trip with family & friends to St. George. We may not be in Utah forever so we figure we better take advantage of every opportunity we have while we live here. We hiked around the Red Cliff Desert Reserve, played in the Virgin River, and camped in Dixie National Forest. We had amazing dutch oven pizza, with chocolate peanut butter s'mores the first night. followed by Key West grilled chicken with corn on the cob and peach cobbler the second night {food tastes so amazing when you're camping}. We found tortoises, snakes, and lizards while hiking, and had fun times playing games and chatting around the campfire. At the precious age of 5months Krew got to hold his first snake {don't worry this ones not venomous}. Oh and the little one... he did just swell camping; which is good news since we don't plan on stopping anytime soon! The next camp trip is already in the works...
