The last time we were in CA we went on a little girls trip to the beach! I didn't have my camera, but Brit got some great shots so I stole these from her. First we went to the Huntington Gardens where The Wedding Planner was filmed {remember that statue scene?} and oh it was beautiful! We had dinner at The Corner Bakery and did a little shopping in Pasadena at the Anthropologie. We then headed up the coast to the beach house. The beach house was adorable {so nostalgic, and perfectly quaint and cozy} it brought back memories of when I was a little girl in California and I would go up to my friends Lake House. It's the kind of place where you feel at home even though you never been before. The kind of place where you want to read a good book and have a good chat. A place where you can hear the ocean crashing against the shore from the front door, and a place where it's okay to walk down the street barefoot. The beach was so clean and not crowded at all {so different from many busy southern California beaches} and we even saw a whale come right up close to the shore {making it even more perfect}. We ended our trip with fish and chips down by the harbor. Thanks babes, we had a blast!
