I saw this idea a couple of months ago when a friend of mine did an 8 week healthy challenge with some of her friends. I loved the idea and knew I wanted to do something like it after I had Krew to be healthy and get rid of my post baby belly. A few weeks ago a friend of mine invited me to join in on an 8 week healthy challenge. Since I was already wanting to do something like it, I jumped on it immediately! Part of the challenge is not to eat sweets/treats 6 days a week. When I started the challenge that seemed like the most impossible idea ever. However I'm happy to report that I've gone almost 4 weeks now only eating sweets one day a week. in replacement of sweets I have been trying to find healthy things to snack on. I stumbled upon this recipe for no-bake energy bites on Pinterest and made them a few days ago to enjoy while watching conference. I made them with dried cranberries instead of chocolate chips and they are 100% amazing. Sort of like a homemade granola bar but way better. By the end of this thing I hope to be a lot healthier, and I'd love to be able to maintain the lifestyle of not eating treats everyday{we will see how that goes}. I'm planing on running a 5k at the beginning of May for breast cancer since I know so many that have personally been affected by it. My exercise every week consists of training for this 5k{I know its not a lot but I just had a baby 3 months ago remember?}. It's helped keep me motivated to run every week and I'm loving to results since I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight and my tummy is almost gone. I'd love to become a runner... like one of those girls that's always in amazing shape and just runs all the time...{we will see how that goes too} but as for now, I'm loving my goals, and my new healthy lifestyle.
