Becoming a mom is a sort of funny process. Everything that I once though about motherhood has been thrown right out the window... Since the day I gave birth to baby Krew I've found myself saying "Why didn't anyone tell me about this part?" Yes motherhood is wonderful and better than anything I could have ever imagined, but its a growing process for sure. Some days I'ts 2pm before I realize that I haven't even brushed my teeth for the day{And I'm a dental hygienist people!} Anyhow the reason for this post is this... I've had the hardest time with lipstick... {don't know what shade to get.don't know how to wear it}. On the rare occasion when I have a few minutes to myself to get ready I'd love to update my post pregnancy look with a little lipstick... a little reminder of sorts that {yes} I can be a mommy and my 25 year old self. Whats your favorite? Any suggestions to help this new mamma? Help!

i totally know what you are saying. Sometimes it's afternoon when i brush my teeth too. I think the same thing as you...I'm a hygienist, what am I thinking.glad i'm not the only one.:) So glad things are going well for you. Krew is adorable.
Congrats on your little one! So precious! I love lipstick but had the same problem when I first wanted to wear it. I started out buying the expensive stuff but it was a little too dramatic for me...not to mention the price! The best I have found that is the perfect shade is L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche lipstick in Rose Elixir! It is seriously the perfect color, especially for people with our same coloring:)

Your blog is super cute!! Congrats on your little one! I understand what you're saying about being a momma.. now I know why so many moms let themselves go.. we stop thinking so much of ourselves until we look in the mirror and we're like "woah!"! haha.. Anywho MAC lipstick is the best, it stays on forev and smells like vanilla:)
I feel you girl! I didn't brush my teeth until 1:00 today! I'm happy I'm not the only one that has fur on my teeth for half the day most days! haha
