.Got the idea from my great mother in law who makes delish strawberry jam.
.bought some strawbs from Winco for .75cents.
.smashed them up added some sugar and pectin... and voila.... strawberry jam.
.it didnt set up quite as much as i would have liked it too, but it taste delicious...not bad for my first time making strawberry jam.

i totally used it on waffles this morning! it was delish!
how much sugar and pectin did you add? this is bens FAVORITE kind of jam and i have never made it for him.. so why not?
i just bought some pectin at the groccery store and it had the directions on the back for how much sugar and fruit to add! I think it was like 2pt of strawberrys, 4 cups of sugar, and 1 pkg of pectin!
