busy bee's - an update on our life

i finally feel like i have a second to breath! The last two weeks have been really jam packed for Devin and i, and although our life is still as busy & crazy as ever, i feel like i have time again to get back into my blogging. As far as an update goes, here's what we've been up to for the last little while...
1.Midterms- Dev and i both have had major test, projects, and presentations these past few weeks so our lives have kind of revolved around school work. Although i still have one more midterm to take tomorrow, and another test on Wednesday, im feeling pretty good about the semester, and i know we are both looking forward to this being the last strech of school before finals in April.
2. Utah Dental Convention- YES i did get loads of free samples of bleach, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other handy dandy things to aid in dental hygiene, but it did take up a whole day of my life, and when you are already jam packed with things to do it kind of came as an inconvienince!
3. My Cousins Wedding- My darling little cousin Kortney was married last weekend in the Mt. Timp Temple! I wasnt able to go to the ceramony because I was at the Dental Convention all that day, but I was able to go with her through the temple the evening before, which was such a fun experience! Dev and i were able to attend her reception that evening at the Lion House Resturaunt in Salt lake... It was so fun seeing relatives I hadnt seen in a while!
4. Church Callings & Such- Of course we had VT & HT, not to mention a RS activity to make blankets for Haiti, Stake Conference, Ward Conference, and Stake Basketball tournaments (We are the stake sports coordinators for our ward), like i said... keeping busy!
5. Seeing a Bestie- My lovely bestie Katilyn came to visit Utah all the way from New York so of course I had to see her! We had a fun afternoon together doing what we do best.... Shopping :) even though we came away pretty empty handed!
6. Give Kids a Smile- This weekend i volunteered at "Give Kids a Smile" an organization who gives free dental work to kids in need. I have to say it was such a great experience! I did cleanings and sealants, and it made me realize how much i would just love the travel the world and volunteer!
7. Other Things- Besides all of that we have also been busy with... Planning a trip to Miami in April for Dev & his cousin Jeff (Flights are book... and we got a steal on the price!), Planning a trip to California... I NEED THE BEACH, and Trying to sell the contract to our apartment... ready for a change.

Note: I know theres no pictures with this post which i rather lame, but I havent really been taking a lot of pictures... Maybe too busy? Maybe bec. its winter ? either way... ill work on taking more :)
