The table incident

It all started when 7 children decided to get 3 new light fixtures for their parents for Christmas. It was decided that the fixtures would be hung the day after Christmas. And so it was done. The family worked together and with little effort got the first 2 light fixtures hung. Then it came time to hang the third light fixture which proved to be much harder than the first two. With a long ladder, some trusty rope, and help from a few friends the task seemed to be safe and managable. It was decided that the younger son Dallin would take down the old fixture and that the older son Devin would put up the new fixture. All was going well untill the ladder started to tip. Dallin quickly jumped off the ladder from 20 feet up in the air to prevent himself from going straight through the window. Much to our surprise he jump towards the dinning room table to brace his fall before eventually rolling off onto the ground. From my perspective it looked and sounded like poor Dalling had gone straight throught the window and was seriously hurt. Much to our surprise he was just fine... not even a scratch. The table didnt make it out with the same fate... infact the corner where he landed was shattered to peices. Luckily the men in this family were quite handy and with some wood, some skrews, and a little glue they managed to put the table back together again.
