Loving the Fallness of it all

We had such a fun time doing fall things this past weekend. This is our first fall living in Provo, and it has been so much fun experiencing all the utah has to offer at this time of year. The weekend began with us going to Thanksgiving Point with some of Dev's friends from work. We got to enjoy a haunted house, a haunted corn maze, and a regular corn maze. It was fun to spend the evening out and about getting scared and enjoying the crisp fall air with friends. The only part that wasn't enjoyable was the fact that I wore a pair a new pair of black healed boots.. I didnt realized we would be walking around in a dirty, bumpy, corn field... By the time we were half way through the cornmaze I had fallen at least 300 times, my new boots were ruined and my feet were killing me. Devin gladly picked me up and carried me piggy back style the rest of the way. He's an angel. Because of this mishap we ended up getting turned around and we ended up finishing at the starting point. Oh well... At least we got out even if we did cheat! At Thanksgiving point they also had tons of Punpkins that a local couple had carved. These pumpkins were seriously amazing and there had to have been 100 of them. My favorite of course was the little mermaid pumpkin.

We also had the chance to take a little drive up American Fork Canyon to see the changing leaves of fall. We got out and took a little hike at some springs back in the moutain. It was gorgeous!

Then, last night we went on a double date with Devin's cousin Jeff to some hot springs just south of Provo. We went at night time so I couldn't take any pictures, but these hot springs were so relaxing. There are mulitple little pools to choose from ranging in temperature, and a giant waterfall feeding into them. It's about a 2.5 mile hike back into the springs so it's a and peaceful and secluded area. It was such a relaxing time enjoying nature and one anothers company.

Isn't CornBellys a great place! We loved it when we went the last weekend in September. I'm sorry you got your new shoes ruined but was it worth it? Sounds like you guys had a fun time.
