Devin's Grandpa passed away last week after a year long battle with cancer. I am really greatful for the chance we had to visit with him and be with him before he passed. I am especially greatful that his grandparent live so close, since i had already started school when he passed away. We both have many fond memories with Grandpa James... and what a comfort it is to know the plan of salvation! The funeral was this past weekend, and it was great to get to see some extended family that dev and I hadn't seen in a while. Because grandpa james had served in the military they had military members play taps and present a flag to devin's grandma for his service at the grave sight which was way cool. We love you Grandpa James!

I was sad I couldn't be there... especially since we live about a mile away! I heard Shaila and Durk (sp?) both did great at the funeral!
It was fun to get to visit with you. And yes, I thought they both did a great job. The whole thing turned out very nice. BTW I stole your picture of the Texas flag since I forgot to snap a picture. I hope that's ok.
That was a tough thing to go thru... but, YES. SO grateful for our knowledge of Eternal Families!!!
