So as girly as I am I actually held my very first snake this week! It was a Rosy Boa, and I know this is not terribly surprising considering who my husband is, but it was a big accomplishment for me! Devin just got home yesterday from a 5 day herp (snake and Lizard catching) trip with his two cousins Jeff and Luke. They went down into Arizona and stayed in both Phoenix and Tucson. They caught all kinds of fun lizard's and snakes I think he said they caught about 30 different species, Thats Alot! They caught multiple rattle snakes, and two GILA MONSTERS! This was their big catch! They have been looking for the Gila Monster forever, it is the only venomous lizard in the the United States and one of only two venomous lizard's in the entire world. They are very rare, and the boys were so excited to have finally found one!
